Beaufort County, and this excellent book covers the Garnett area in Chapter 16,
Upper St. Peter's Parish. It contains a picture of the Black Swamp Cemetery on

This privately-published book covers the history of the Robertville-Lawtonville
area, including several members of the Lawton family who are buried in the
